The
Withymoor
Community Association
committee
meetings held in Community
Room and everyone is welcome.
The
association has been an
integral part of Withymoor
School for 20 years and
has worked very closely
with the school whenever
and wherever possible.
The aim of the association
is to provide facilities
for the local community
and this is achieved through
various groups. |

PLAYGROUP
|

to 11.45a.m. |
|

|
The
playgroup is run by caring
leaders and children are
welcome from the age of
two-and-a-half. They normally
have 2 sessions per week,
progressing to more sessions
when they are able to
cope with them, until
they leave for nursery
school or school. It is
a big step for children
starting school and playgroup
leaders try to make this
as easy as possible by
introducing the children
into the school in numerous
ways. Such as choosing
books from the library.
Going into assembly and
meeting the Reception
Teachers so that they
feel at ease before they
take that ‘big step’.

PLAYGROUP

| This is a
very popular group enjoyed
by both the parents and
children. Toddlers can learn
to socialise with others
while they play and become
familiar with the room that
they will use if they progress
to Withymoor Playgroup.
The
group meet on Wednesday
afternoon 1-15 2.45p.m.

BADMINTON
CLUB |

Meeting
on Monday and Thursday
evenings 7.00p.m –
10.00p.m in the
school hall. The club
will always welcome new
