Welcome to Withymoor Primary School! In this website we have included information about the school, its aims, organisation, curriculum and activities. However, it is difficult to show what an exciting, caring learning environment we have and we would encourage you to visit the school so that you can see things at first hand.

At Withymoor we want every child to reach their full potential, to enjoy coming to school each day and to develop a love of learning which lasts a lifetime. We also want our children to develop into positive, responsible citizens of the future and want to achieve this in partnership with you, our parents.

We feel that we deliver a broad curriculum that offers the children many opportunities. Children can learn to play a musical instrument, sing in the choir, play netball or join in one of the many school clubs on offer. Our focus days ensure that the curriculum stays lively ~ Reading Week, Topic Focus Days and Creative Arts Week to name but a few!

We have a caring and professional staff who want to provide the highest quality of education for the young people they teach. Over the years we have built up strong links with the local community and continue to provide opportunities for a wide range of groups of all ages.

We welcome all our parents into school and have a very active and successful Parent and Teacher Association that is always on the look out for new recruits! We believe that, through a strong home/school partnership, we will be able to give our children the very best primary school experience.
